Start on level one for two or three minutes. It should feel like a deep stretch, never a sharp pain, and if anything hurts, stop. If you have a diagnosed spinal condition, are pregnant, or have had back surgery, check with your doctor or physio before using The Arc.

So The Arc is deliberately simple: a moulded arch, three heights, a soft foam pad down the centre, so your spine rests on cushioning rather than hard plastic.
